The place
The deodar — devadaru, "timber of the gods" — grows through the western Himalaya and can reach fifty metres. The forests are dim at ground level and unusually quiet, since the canopy absorbs a great deal of sound.

Walking meditation, longer sits, and practice where you want to feel enclosed without feeling confined.
